Where is Ford Park?Ford Park is a registered charity (Registered Charity No: 1088106) located in Ulverston. Getting to us can be a bit tricky. Our postcode is LA12 7JP but if you follow your sat nav, you could end up in the wrong place. Ford Park is situated just below the Sir John Barrow Monument, on Hoad Hill. To find us, turn off the A590 into Hart Street, you’ll see the Swan Inn and the Swan Chinese take away on your left. Go about 500yds and turn right into Ford Park Crescent, continue driving and you will see the entrance to the park ahead. There will be signage on the road to help guide you to the festival.

-
How is the event publicised? We use a mixture of media to market our event, however the most valuable way is from our exhibitors. By sharing by word of mouth and through social media and copying us into your posts the more we can attract ceramic enthusiasts to our event. Press releases are sent to the local press, regional lifestyle magazines with links to MUDFest and Ford Park websites and banners are strategically placed in the area ahead of the event to attract the general public.

Is the event held outside?Ford Park is a beautiful six acre charity run community park in the heart of Ulverston. The festival will take place in their grounds on a grass surface. Although we have chosen a relatively flat surface, it is recommended that you bring blocks of wood to prop up and make level your stand. Coil matting will be provided at the entrance of the marquee to protect the site if we experience any heavy rain.
-
Can we camp onsite? At present we do not have any facilities to camp onsite in the public park. Ford Park do offer an overnight option to park your camper van in their car park at £10 per night paid on arrival. Please note there are no water or electricity facilities available.
