Roll on 2025!

Updated: Sep 30, 2024

Planning for 2025 started a few weeks after our 2024 event finished. We are looking to expand this year to include more artists over a two day event and physically locate ourselves on the field. There are many exciting changes happening over the next few years at Ford Park which will help MUDFest expand in the future.

One of the things we are hoping to do is to create a sculpture for the gardens at Ford Park made by the public and local community at the event, funding opportunities are being examined to enable that to happen, we all hope it will be successful.

As next year will be a two day event we are looking into security arrangements, artist camping facilities as well as hooking up electrical points to the field. Lots to think about and do!

We have a lot of ceramicists interested in applying for 2025. Applications will open in the autumn, in a few months time for our event on 17th & 18th May with set up on Friday 16th early evening. So please get the dates in the diary if you are interested in coming along!

We are currently looking for ceramicists to run raku sessions for the public over the weekend at MUDFest 2025. The workshops and “have a go sessions” were very popular with the public so if you are keen to run activities at the event please get in touch, so that we can include them in the planning.

I thought I'd applied for your 2025 event, but can't seem to find it. I met Kath at Potfest Melton Mowbray. Could you confirm if I've applied please?

Thanks

Jill Benson

“I really enjoyed this event and hope it will be the first of many.  The stallholders were delightful and very happy to talk about their work.  There was a wide variety of quality ceramics on display.”
